I'm rereading Watership Down, which was a childhood favorite (of course, bunnies!).
This is from a scene where they rabbits are catching their breath and resting amongst a field of beans. I tried to make them not TOO cartoony, but not realistic either. From left to right, here is Hazel, Fiver and Bigwig.

Great drawing Caroline, I really like the depth of field. This looks a frame of a movie.
ReplyDeleteMaybe you could push the left vine over so it's not *just* touching Hazel's nose, which would free up that little tangent. The green of the plants comes out really well in their fur.
Thanks Tim, I think you are probably right about Hazel's nose, it becomes more obvious in the thumbnail image.
